About the book

Shannon Skokos was led on a life-changing excursion through South Africa's untamed wilderness. Her images are mesmerizing and provide a glimpse into the vast diversity of mammals, birds, insects and reptiles that inhabit Kruger National Park. Her insightful text inspires the reader to carefully evaluate his daily walk with God and to gain wisdom through the study of His creatures. The animals and lessons within Ask God's Creatures®: and They Will Teach You are divided into three themed sections - Strength, Respect and Wisdom.

About the author

Shannon Skokos, a former Miss Arkansas and motivational speaker, is an attorney, author, photographer and philanthropist residing in Dallas, Texas. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas as a Governor’s Scholar, Shannon established a statewide youth motivational program, for which she was honored in the Arkansas State House and Senate. Shannon received her Juris Doctorate with high honors from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law, where she served as Law Review Associate Editor.

After moving to Dallas, she was inspired to spend the next three years photographing and studying animals in the Kruger National Park in South Africa, and eventually published a scripturally based photographic coffee table book entitled Ask God’s Creatures: and They Will Teach You.
